Project Professionals Group expands Down Under

Overdimensional cargo transportation network, Project Professionals Group, has expanded its Australian membership to include individual states.

PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said Cargo Line International Pty Ltd is the new member for New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania and CMX Global Logistics Pty Ltd is the new member for Queensland with 360 Logistics Pty Ltd representing the network in Western Australia.

“PPG has a policy of one member per nation other than in large economies where it makes more sense to divide geographically such as India and China,” Mr Stephens said.

“Australia will now be categorised into separate memberships on a state-by-state bases to offer clients a more localised solution to better cater to their individual requirements.”

Meanwhile, Mr Stephens has confirmed that the ISO accredited PPG Project Forwarding Certificate will be held from 17-18 October in Houston during the Breakbulk Americas education program despite the impact of Hurricane Harvey. Registration remains open and includes a one-day pass to the Breakbulk Americas exhibition hall and invitation to the official welcome reception.

PPG appoints new members in India and Malaysia

Project cargo forwarding network Project Professionals Group has appointed three new members in Asia.

PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said MFC Transport Pvt. Ltd is the new member for Western India (Mumbai), with Tera Projects & Shipping appointed as the new member for Malaysia (Klang), and D.B. Group India Pvt. Ltd. as the new member for Northern India (New Delhi) and Eastern India (Kolkata).

Mr Stephens said all three companies are experienced over-dimensional project cargo specialists with excellent capabilities to support PPG members.

“I would like to congratulate all three companies on joining the PPG network which this year celebrates its 10thanniversary,” Mr Stephens said.

The PPG annual conference is from 6-8 September 2017 at The Langham Hotel, Melbourne, Australia.

PPG appoints new member for Northern and Eastern India

Project Professionals Group has appointed D.B. Group India Pvt. Ltd. as its new project forwarding member for both Northern and Eastern India.

PPG general manager and founder Kevin Stephens said D.B. Group India with offices in New Delhi and Kolkata was well placed to partner with network members.

“D.B. Group has an international network through its global head office and their local contacts in Northern and Eastern India will provide experienced support for PPG members,” Mr Stephens said.

PPG appoints two new members

Project cargo network the Project Professionals Group has appointed Interland Transport & Logistique as its member for Morocco and Global Freight Solutions Oy Ltd as the new member for Finland.

PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said both companies have extensive experience working in the over-dimensional transportation sector.

Interland Transport is based in Casablanca while the Global Freight Solutions Finland office is in Espoo.

Meanwhile, registrations are closing soon for the  PPG Certificate in Project Freight Forwarding in Shanghai at the InterContinental Shanghai Expo Hotel from 13-14 March. The ISO accredited training course includes a one day Breakbulk China exhibition hall pass. The training is open to anyone involved with project forwarding services including terminal operators, forwarders and shippers, or new entrants interested in joining the project freight sector.
