Get up to speed with the essential real-life workplace skills of project logistics in a condensed one-day masterclass training format.
The PPG Project Cargo Certificate for Forwarders, 3PLs, Clients and ECPMs consists of masterclasses modules with practical activities covering all the critical skills required to excel across the project forwarding supply chain including: How to meet client expectations, tender processes, chartering pitfalls, how to stand out in a crowd, and up-to-date international project management.
The one-day master class will be held in Houston, Texas, on Friday, November 15.
This course is a finalist in the Heavy Lift Project Forwarding International (HLPFI) awards ceremony to be held in Antwerp, Belgium, on 15 October 2019 in the Training Awards category.
Course coordinator and general manager of international overdimensional forwarder network Project Professionals Group, Kevin Stephens, said the one-day format would suit employees with limited time away from their workplace, but recognised the benefits of continuing professional development.
“At a time when the project forwarding landscape is changing faster than ever before this training provides insights in to how to better meet the needs of clients and multipurpose operators seeking to safely transport high-value cargos,” Mr Stephens said.
The master class also includes professional communication skills that are critical to project management success.
“This is a fast-paced world and it is vital to build trust and transparency in all aspects of communicating about complex, multi-model transportation.”
