Specialist overdimensional logistics network, Project Professionals Group, has announced that the Las Palmas Port Authority and the Port of Corpus Christi are the Platinum Sponsors of its 8th annual conference in the Canary Islands from 14-15 May, 2015.
PPG General Manager Kevin Stephens said the conference offered sponsors the opportunity to provide detailed industry updates and advice to assist members to deliver heavy-lift cargo.
“It is wonderful to have the Port of Corpus Christi again providing conference sponsorship and additionally PPG looks forward to building a strong relationship with the Las Palmas Port Authority,” Mr Stephens said.
As part of its sponsorship the Las Palmas Port Authority has arranged a tour of the port, which has shipping links with 510 ports in 135 countries, and the Port Control Centre during the conference.
The Hotel Santa Catalina in Las Palmas is the accommodation provider and conference meeting venue.
Mr Stephens said all involved with the heavy-lift and project forwarding industry were welcome to register for the upcoming PPG Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management courses in Johannesburg, from 16-17 February in conjunction with the Breakbulk Africa Congress, and in Shanghai from 17-18 March during Breakbulk China 2015.
